Our Memorial Woodland offers a tranquil and meaningful setting where families can create a lasting tribute to their loved one.
The woodland is easily accessible, with a gentle walk of less than ten minutes from the parking area, allowing visitors to reach the site with ease and comfort.
Families are invited to select a tree from the Manx native tree list, ensuring each planting contributes to the natural heritage of the island. We usually source these trees from Watson’s Nursery in Greeba, but we are more than happy to work with another supplier should you have a preference.
Once a tree has been chosen, we will cover the cost, collect it on your behalf, and safely transport it to the woodland.
Our team prepares the site in advance, creating a suitable space for both the ashes and the tree to be placed.
On the day of the interment, families are warmly encouraged to participate in the process if they wish. Many find comfort in placing the ashes into the ground, helping to plant the tree and gently returning the compost and soil.
Throughout the entire experience, our team is present to guide, support and ensure everything is handled with care, dignity and respect.
